How to play
- Pick a tool from the rack and wipe it across the mess. Fast, firm wiping covers more ground per second.
- Follow the order: descaler on limescale, then brush. Cleaner on marker, then sponge. Shovel on vomit, then whatever is left.
- Tap dropped paper, cups, cans and cigarette ends one at a time — those need no tool at all.
- A dead lamp and a dripping cistern need the wrench: tap the lamp twice; open the cistern once and turn it three times.
- Once everything is clean the flush button appears. It ends the shift and scores your time against the three-star target.
Toilet Scrub is a free cleaning browser game on DropPlay in which players get eighteen filthy toilets clean again using a sponge, brush, shovel, cleaner, descaler and plunger. Every kind of mess has its own answer and a fixed order: limescale yields only to the descaler and then the brush; marker needs cleaner first and the sponge second; vomit has to be lifted with the shovel before anything else will touch it. On top of that come side jobs — a dead bulb, a dripping cistern, a blockage — and dropped litter that is tapped away one piece at a time. A meter tracks how much filth is left as you work, and finishing quickly earns three stars and more coins for the shop. It runs straight in the browser on desktop, tablet and phone, with no download and no sign-up.
Tips & strategy
- Do the repairs first. A dripping cistern re-dirties the floor you just cleaned, and in the dark you cannot see what you are doing anyway.
- Spray broadly before you wipe. Cleaner and descaler act instantly, so it pays to treat a whole wall and then wipe it in a single pass.
- The sponge covers more area, the brush has more force. Take the broad surfaces with the sponge and the stubborn remains with the brush.
- The blockage takes six strokes, but only once nothing is floating in the bowl. Fish the roll out first or you are pumping for nothing.
- Coins come from speed, not thoroughness — the bonus for beating 70% of the target time is worth as much as a whole star. Big surfaces first, specks last.
- Buy the wide nozzle early. It enlarges cleaner, descaler and shovel at once, so it improves three tools rather than one.

How do you play Toilet Scrub?
Pick a tool from the rack and wipe it over the mess. Each kind of dirt needs a particular tool and sometimes two steps — spray limescale first, then brush it off. When everything is clean you flush, and the shift is done.
How many levels does it have?
Eighteen handcrafted shifts, from a guest toilet to a flatshare after the party, and then endless further shifts assembled at random from sixteen rooms and six toilet shapes, getting slowly harder.
Why will the sponge not shift the limescale?
Because limescale is too hard for it. Spray it with the descaler first — that softens it, and then the brush takes it off. Marker works the same way: cleaner first, sponge second. The game tells you as much if you try the wrong tool on it.
What are the coins for?
The shop. There are three upgrades with three levels each: a bigger sponge, a stronger brush, and a wider nozzle covering cleaner, descaler and shovel. You earn coins for every shift you finish, and more of them for a good time.
Can I play it on a phone?
Yes, it was built for touch from the start — you wipe with a finger and tap the litter away. The same thing works with a mouse on desktop.
Is my progress saved?
Unlocked levels, stars, coins and purchased upgrades live in your browser through the LocalStorage API and never leave your device. Clearing your browser data or playing in a private window starts you over.
